I’d like this they just need to offer plain jane slide assemblies to get my interest.
Holy ugliness Batman!!!
I see this and I think the same thing I see when I see all this sort of stuff, “This is going to make the gun finnicky”. And that’s if you’re lucky – you may end up with an unreliable POS for your money spent so when I see SIG offer this (plus an extractor and firing pin assembly) I worry this is just them trying to keep a certain demographic from straying over to Taran tactical and Agency arms and Zev tech etc. for go faster SIG stuff so they can get those dollars too.
I mean I guess if you want a finnicky gun now you can get the SIG name on those parts too. Oh and don’t forget the SIG branded red dot. I can hardly wait for new proprietary SIG branded lights and lasers for that rail of theirs. Maybe next year they’ll improve the ammo so it only the fits in their guns. I think I need a SIG guru to move into my hose and tell me how to live my life.
ok done
In the product video it mentions they removed standard lightening cuts from the slide, and added the “go fast” cuts – thus keeping the same slide weight as standard production, and not affecting function in any way (probably unless you dump sand in those lightening cuts)… So I see it as a better option than cutting up your production slide and having to spring it differently to keep the same slide speed…
What a great way for people to throw their money away! Congrats, SIG.
