Sneak Peek – Benchmade Limited Edition Infidel

You know the Infidel. Benchmade designers decided to create a limited edition version. They DLC coated the CPM-S30V blade and blacked out the hardware.

This is a limited product run of 3,000 pieces. It will be available through dealers and the Benchmade web store, August 16th for $525.00.

The owners of BM Knives gave personal campaign contributions to very anti-gun candidates like Ron Wyden and commie Patty Murray, so I’ll not be buying any of their products.
Plenty of other great knife makers offer American made models, and don’t support anti-gun politicians, so why would I support BM? Brand loyalty isn’t worth it.

    • Yawnz says:

Got any press releases or anything like that? Would be nice to have hard evidence for back up.

    • Davy Crockett says:

Politics is not everything. The owners are Americans with whom you may or may not disagree on a set of political issues, but they’re not bad people. And they know how to make nice knives.

      • Amer-Rican says:

I disagree, because good Americans don’t support a political party that wants de facto open borders, ‘hate speech laws’, ever more gun control, an ‘assault weapons ban’, socialized medicine, and chooses as its primary tactic “racial and ethnic divisiveness”… The democrat party sells “contempt for America”.

Plenty of other American companies make great knives without supporting anti-gun politicians. Brand loyalty shouldn’t rival the Second Amendment.

        • Davy Crockett says:

We are weaker as a nation when half the population views the other half as the enemy. Remember that they hold those views in good faith; they’re just mistaken.

          • Stefan S. says:

Just how the f are to view them? Mistaken? GMAFB. More like indoctrinated. What will America look like in 10 years? Venezuela, if AOC and Bernie get their wish. Oh and to heck with BM.

        • Bob says:

Thanks Rican, you’ve convinced me to buy one!

          • CV76 says:

Go for it Bob, you will have the freedom to do so, for now. However, the other poster here is correct. If you support those who give to causes that limit Liberty and your freedom to purchase a tool such as these and firearms then you ultimately harm your own “interests”. Let that sink in.

            • SSD says:

Did you post this from a device made in China? If so, you’re supporting Democratic candidates. Welcome to the machine.

              • SpankDaddyCool says:

Supporting China is way above the fallacy of the “two-party system”.

    • PNWTO says:

Gun views aside, Wyden and Murray are huge advocates of public lands and natural spaces and have done a lot of great things for those who enjoy the outdoors.

      Guns aren’t the only issue.

      • PNWTO says:

I’m not defending up there atrocious gun views but chances are your life has been made better by the farm bill and the land and water conservation fund. Those two have done a lot of work to make that legislation happen.

    • SpankDaddyCool says:

At a certain point in business you buy off all sides. Why? Because they answer the phone when you call in a favor.

  2. Lasse says:

Even though I have very little interest in knives, every BM post is guaranteed to bring out some butt hurt people. Keep em coming!

    • TM says:

A man gives facts, is asked to back it up, backs it up, and is butt hurt? He’s simply correct.

      • Lasse says:

Go read the other BM posts and tell me that you can’t find a single butt hurt person.

Never mind the fact that the people you need to donate money to is the opposition of what you’re selling. Donating to pro knife republicans is like pissing in the pool- it’s already full and your contribution means nothing.

  3. Marcus says:

Division is indeed destroying our nation and the cynical side of me believes that is the intent. This is mostly because one side prefers tactics that separate us by our individual traits, to weaken us as one people. Conversely the other side seeks to bring us together as a nation. To rally around our strength not as individuals, but as citizens of the greatest country in the world. For that we are called the most despicable names, demeaned and subject to a constant assault on our liberties. Furthermore the president of our nation is subject to constant attack and demonization. I can think of very few things that would incite peoples passions.

I understand the political game better than most, so I can at least partially surmise Benchmade’s intent. But in the end it lacks balance and doesn’t fully consider the proclivities of their customers. They certainly have that right, as do their customers to not allow their hard earned dollars go into these peoples coffers.

In the end, politics are a corporate loser. I just wish more people would understand that.

    Respectfully.

    • Ed says:

Marcus, very eloquently stated. I’m sure someone will still have their gray opinion, that certain people like to play both sides in a conversation like this.

    • Amer-Rican says:

      Cogent post, Marcus.
