The Gerber Tri-Tip is a mini cleaver. Featuring a blade made from 7Cr17MoV steel, it has beveled leading edge for scraping and a full fine edge knife for cutting. The machined aluminum handle is textured for added grip and less slip while working.

Mmmmmm… grilled marinated Tri-Tip
It seems like every restaurant in Southern California serves Tri-Tip. I’d never even heard of it before going.
Davy- they serve it in Norcal too. I grew up where the wrestling coach would grill it as a fundraiser…then when I moved to the midwest, it wasn’t as common…
but your comment also made me think of LetterKenny when they are talking about “LA”…. If you want a laugh, check that out on youtube- it’s pretty funny.
I really dig cleaver style blades and this is no exception but holey phoned in sheath.
EODFish (still think you’re a guy I used to work with, but not sure)… Not sure if you know Steve Krishner- he used to do kydex stuff after getting out. I’m sure he could rig up a decent sheath for this as you’re a tech. He did a few things for me a couple years ago.
I have no clue my man but click on my name and you should be able to figure that out pretty quick.
I was thinking the same – great looking blade. Sheath as big as my cell phone!
