WESTFIELD, Massachusetts – January 15, 2020 – Savage Arms, makers of the most reliably accurate long-range production rifles in the United States, is proud to announce a new addition to its shooting team. Veteran Precision Rifle Series shooter Scott Satterlee will join Savage, shooting production class with the 110 Elite Precision.
“Master Sergeant Satterlee brings a wealth of experience to Team Savage,” said Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing for Savage Arms. “He served 26 years in United States Army Special Operations Command and was deployed on multiple combat tours including Panama, Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Philippines. Now he’s sharing his expertise with everyone. We are excited to watch Scott compete this season in the PRS Production class with the new 110 Elite Precision rifle”
“I’m super excited to be working with Savage on their new Model 110 Elite Precision, which is a purpose built, race ready, competition rifle,” Satterlee said. “Savage Arms has always had one of the most modular and versatile platforms available at any price. The modularity and functionality of the new 110 Elite Precision platform will allow me to go from a .223 trainer to a 6mm Creedmoor competition match rifle to a medium weight long range hunting rifle, and with only a few tools.”
Satterlee took 24th overall in 2019’s PRS standings, and 17th over all in the NRL. In addition, he won 3 separate matches. Satterlee is an ideal brand ambassador for Savage Arms. He will serve as the Director of Match Operations for the National Rifle League and the Director of the International Precision Rifle Federation in 2020. In addition to his administrative roles, Satterlee will compete in PRS events with his 110 Elite Precision.
Saterlee will also be taking his shooting expertise on the road. He’ll compete in international matches and hold clinics in Limpopo, Johannesburg and Capetown, South Africa. After, Satterlee will head to the north to hold clinics and compete in Scotland and Ireland.
Wow! So cool! Scott and I were Team Leaders in the 101st LRSD together back in the mid 90s. Lost track of him. Funny how great folks that I knew in the service and industry pop up here and there (when did I miss the boat?)
Scott is a great warrior! I wish him the best!
I didn’t know he was a LRS guy, Awesome! I seem to remember you mentioning it.
