If you’re looking for a go-fast hinging shoe, are worth a look.
Coming later this year, this model was created in conjunction with UA sponsored bowhunter Cameron Hanes. The color combination is Black with UA Barren camouflage accents and a Red sole.
Featuring a 4mm drop, the Machina Off Road features a UA Storm treated upper to repel water and Boa lacing system. The Vibram outsole incorporates their Mega Grip lug pattern and the HOVR technology utilizes their compression mesh Energy Web which contains and molds the foam to give back the energy you put in.
I dig it! love deep open tread like that, and lower rise then my la sportiva mutants. I hope the stack height isn’t quite as high as it looks but I’ll definitely have to hunt down a pair to try on. I have yet to try a Boa laced shoe but I’m curious about it.
Living in a severely rural location, I am too hidden from stores that would supply these on a shelf. Need something to replace my Hokas, and would love to try these!

Sportsman’s Warehouse seems to have a version.
Interesting shoe- I’m interested in checking it out but the Boa lacing system seems like a horrible idea. After the first few miles your foot is going to naturally swell. Normal laces allow for some expansion but bungee would be best. After using Altra Timp and Lone Peak, its hard to consider any others without a zero drop and nice toebox or going back to a regular narrow last.
I’ve also been very confused about what Salomon has been doing – their shoes seem to get more and more narrow – like Cinderella shoes or something. Had to stop using those a while ago.
Anyone have any idea what the stack height is? Trying to determine how much cushion this shoe has.
