Ruffwear Pack Out Bag

If you hike with your dog, or just go on long walks together, you’re going to have to deal with Rover’s waste. Even if you normally carry disposable waste bags, carting them around in your hand once they’re full gets old, and smelly.

Ruffwear’s Pack Out Bag gives a place to carry your dog’s waste until you can reach a proper receptacle. This belt mounted solution features a ripstop outer, odor-blocking zipper and waste bag dispenser at the bottom.

Offered in Blue Moon color, sizes Medium or Large.

Talk about a first world problem-solver.

Someone found a use for the old Uncle Mikes inside the waistband holster clip!

  3. Jeb says:

I wonder who picks up coyote, wolf and fox turds on all those miles of hiking trails. I must be the arsehole who encourages their dogs to poop off the beaten path.

I suppose you shit in alleyways yourself.

      • Jeb says:

Sorry, Yuck, I don’t live in any urban sprawls or populated communities with alleys. Guess living in the remote rural countryside has spoiled my dogs. But next time I see somebody wiping shit from their foot, I’ll think of your overcivilized self and smile. My parents taught me to look where I walk, science taught me animal shit is part of an ecosystem and encompasses much of the surface area in our country. I suppose you either live in denial or ignorance. You can go back to wearing your mask and gloves now.

Leave No Trace doesn’t say “except for dog poop because dogs are animals and animal poop is natural” it just says “Leave No Trace”. You can be proud of your decision to not clean up after yourself or animals *on trails* if you want, but everyone else will still think you’re an ass. Living in the boonies doesn’t change that.

Some people are illiterate, lack comprehension or simply assume. Where the f*$k did I say I allow my dogs to shit on trails? I made it very clear I encourage them to shit OFF the beaten path. But to some special needs people who lack English comprehension, I do suppose that means I let them shit ON the trail. Reading and comprehension is taught at the elementary grade, people. Your assertion of my cleanliness is nowhere as solid as your incompetence in the ability to read and understand what you’ve read. Carry on with your glove and mask masturbation.

On the trail, off the trail, front country or back country. It’s wrong any way you frame it. In fact, you’re making things worse by destroying more wilderness by blazing your own trail. You’re just self-centered, lazy, and nasty.

              • Jeb says:

And you’re an assuming cuck. When did I ever say I blaze my own trail? Allowing my two dogs to utilize the same predator and game trails as wildlife is “destroying more wilderness”? Where did I ever say I blaze my own trail? You’re impotent, a cuck and illiterate.

                • My, aren’t you stupid says:

Off the beaten path? That’s what you said. That means you’re busting new trail. Your dog’s waste doesn’t belong there. Either do you.

Oh man, forget this if it does come with an RTI attachment….

I am seeing some snarky comments in this thread, but as an avid hiker/backpacker I can tell you that nothing is more disgusting on a well frequented trail than it being full of dog poop. It is one thing if you can flick it well off to the side, but even with that method some trails end up smelling terribly. Picking up after your animals is a well practiced element of Leave No Trace and it is especially important if you travel with your dog to different regions of the country to minimize cross contamination.

That belt clip looks like garbage though, not going to lie.

    • Jeb says:

Agreed. Hence why I made it clear I teach my dogs to crap off the beaten path. You know what else makes trails smell…? Dogs pissing on trail posts! One pile of dog crap 10-20’ off and away from 15m of trail or hundreds of dogs pissing on each and every post along the trail…what’s worse on a hot and humid day?
