    While you’re upgrading, keep going:
    1) Place in a trash bag
    2) Put in dumpster
    3) Log onto one of the great backpack companies’ websites and get a modern load carriage solution. Mystery Ranch Mtn Ruck is the nonpareil, but many other good ones.
    4) Never look back

    Dang! This is exactly what I did a few decades ago when I humped the green tick. Even used the exact same metal triglide buckles. Then I got smart and switched to a Kifaru.
