Sneak Peek – A7 “NEMESIS” Helmet Suspension System

Here’s a peak at the A7 Defense & Aerospace “NEMESIS” Prototype helmet suspension system without the fabric covering. It’s a one piece deigns which fits all helmet cuts.

According to A7, the unique geometric design conforms to various head shapes without causing pressure points or hotspots, allows the peripheral pads to be rotated for a custom fit and allows air to circulate in and out of the helmet. It is also fully machine washable.

Their last design outperformed they current GI pad system by over 36%, as tested by PEO Soldier. A7 promises this one is even better.

What’s the minimum number needed? We all know the four in the center are being removed to allow for a channel for the headset.

I fit my headset under a TW Cloudline with no modifications to the pad layout…helmet is still snug to my dome and no comfort issues.

The top ones have minimal or no protection for front/rear/side impacts, which are the most common. You can still get partial by cutting one of the hexagons in half and filling the gap along the headset strap
