    Hilarious!

    well,

since they’re saving so much on their advertising budget maybe they can reduce the price of their rifles and focus on products the public will actually buy since the military has figured out that going with HK they can not only buy from a company which hates selling to the public but also get a more accurate and dependable product.

now I’m gonna go shoot my Geissele URGI and Aero M5. happy holidays ya filthy animals.

    • AbnMedOps says:

Let me know when you are ready to part-out your URGI. I just want everything above the lower.

    • Jeb says:

KAC – cannot stay in stock. Sold out within a few hours of listing inventory. Aspires to be no one else.
Geiselle – cannot keep a proper website while advertising inventory they don’t have. Issues coupons that cannot be used due to lack of inventory. Aspires to be KAC.

<- owns many Geiselle products. All URG-I rail sizes and a complete URG-I 14.5. Geiselle wasn’t even honest about his marketing scheme. Legit clone is a DD barrel with LPGB…something Bill never offered despite using terms like ‘clone correct’. Many G triggers in my safe, swear by them. Only rival I’ve found? KAC 2 stage. Look at shit objectively. You own a G URG-I, not because it’s better than a KAC. You own a URG-I because you cannot justify a KAC. Don’t trip, bro. Either can I. But I have a SCAR 16 AND 17 up on trade for a SR25 in the right config.

AbnMedOps, what exactly do you need from the URG-I offerings. Maybe Eric can pass my email to you. I’ll help a brother if I can.

Jeb, by the time I got swept up in the URG-I hoopla, I figured I’d just whip the credit card at Brownell’s for the complete upper package 14.5, pinned and welded to legal 16″…but that inventory didn’t last long, did it? I’ve heard that Geissele is currently focused on building complete rifles, and not selling parts.

I’m not an “autistic level” cloner (as Garand Thumb quipped), but I’d like to assemble a functionally equivalent near-clone. The purported USASOC URG-I recipe, and some good discussion, is posted in AR-15 Forum, URG-I thread, 1/7/2018, and that is about the depth and width of my knowledge of topic.

I’m most interested in a complete upper! But I’ve also been collecting bits and pieces, and am currently looking for:

        – Geissele hand guard 13.5″ Mk16 in Desert Dirt (P/N 05-650S – NSN 1005-01-672-4794

        – DD gov’t profile barrel, 14.5, w/ DD gas block, gas tube P/N 04-013-18034, and pinned-and-welded Surefire 4 (or 3) prong P/N FH556RC

I might also have tradeable extras of a couple items in tight supply.

Eric, if you are listening, you have my permission to pass my email to Jeb.
