Benchmade Announces 14 New Knives and 2 New Tools for 2021

Benchmade is kicking off the year by announcing 14 new knife models and two new tools. That’s a lot to chew on so we’ll give you an overview and point out the highlights.

Highlights

• This year’s Gold Class model is the 211-201 Tengu Flipper, which features white and black marbled carbon fiber, BiFrost pattern Damasteel and a few other unique touches.

• The 9070SBK Claymore sets a new bar for closed breaking strength, making it the toughest Benchmade folder to date, not to mention being the first Benchmade to use CPM-D2 blade steel.

• The entire Adamas family is being revised, with the blade steel moving to CPM-CruWear, the super strong tool steel, and the weight being lightened without reducing the strength.

• Bugout family expands with both a carbon-fiber / CPM-S90V variant as well as a new Mini Bugout incorporating CF Elite, the carbon fiber-reinforced nylon polymer.

• Two new honing tools, for either standard edges or the new SelectEdge styles.

  1. Ed says:

Always loved the Osborne knives and the SOCP!

  2. Amer-Rican says:

We’re still boycotting BM for their documented campaign contributions of dems, at least one of whom doesn’t even represent BM’s state of Oregon.

There are plenty of other great knives brands made in America who don’t support the dems.

    • Geoff says:

      Good talk Russ

    • Ed says:

Check out Severtech, Dave Riley makes a solid auto folder and the sought after Spartan. Great quality, $$$$

    • Davy Crockett says:

Do you ask to which political party your doctor has donated? What kind of phone do you use? Everything is not about politics, and this fixation on Benchmade is bizarre and moronic.

      • Steve says:

If you don’t want to consider BM’s politics, consider their actions; specifically, when they agreed to help a local PD in destroying seized firearms, rather than politely declining due to foundational corporate values that support personal weapon/tool possession.

Benchmade also COPIED Spyderco with the hole in the blade type thing. None of these “knives ” for me!!!
