The new PMAG 20 AR 300 B GEN M3 is a dedicated 20 round magazine for 300 Blackout, or, as the Europeans like to call it, 7.62 x 35.
Like its 30 round bigger brother, the 20 rounder offers increased safety, helping prevent inserting a magazine loaded with .300 ammunition in a .223 chambered rifle thanks to its distinct ribbed design and
smoother upper-half texture.
Along with optimized 300 BLK performance, the PMAG 20 incorporates all of Magpul’s GEN M3 features, including our next-generation impact and crush resistant polymer, aggressive front and rear texture, an easily removable slim floor plate, a paint pen dot matrix for marking and
identification, and a dust/impact cover.
Offered in Black for $14.95.
$14.95?!?!? Who do they think they are? What experience does MAGpul even have making magazines?!? They’re going to destroy their reputation with this unproven product.
This ridiculous post is for Joe.
Hey Magpul, thank you! 20 round mags definitely have their place. I will be adding these to my collection as soon as they become available.
I know some 300 black magazines are optimized for heavier (190gr+) subs. Is that the case with this mag or is it basically a standard pmag internally/functionally?
Functionally? No. Internally? Yes, the rib that runs alongside the bullet ogive is reduced or eliminated.
No one in Europe “enforce” metric system over dedicated “Brand Names”. We call it 5.56mm because of NATO, not because of some Remington Conversion – as we say .300 Blackout. .50 is 12.7mm NATO again, so theres that 😉 Dont confuse different OFFICIAL Name systems with metric/imperial/US/europe please.
I’ll be sure and let those manufacturers know that you said it was okay to not use 7,62×35.
Ribbed for the magwell’s pleasure. Hey is Magpul making lowers soon or is that just a MEGA AR15 lower with their logo engraved?
