There’s no defense to play. A guy is suing SIG, they won’t make a comment and either will the guy suing. The Army isn’t going to say anything about it because it was a civilian. Pretty straight forward. It will be dealt with in court.
However, there are well over 100,000 MHS in service, not to mention all of the pistols in private hands, and so far, only civilian cops are shooting themselves. If these pistols actually went off all by themselves, this would be a weekly occurrence, if not more.
