Tardigrade Tactical’s Low Profile Laminate Belt is one of the thinnest belts on the market today.
It was designed for one specific purpose: ?? to keep your pants in place without causing discomfort – especially when wearing an equipment belt or backpack.
The deadline for pre-order is May 28th, 28/05/2021 (2359 DK time zone).

While reading this all I can hear in my head is, “I’m Ron Burgundy???”
I wish there was a like button for the comment section.
Haha, yes me too, Wild Bill!
That looks slick…would definitely be great as a hiking/backpacking belt, too, in which interfacing with a pack’s waist belt would be much more comfortable without absorbing sweat like a sponge.
I’m surprised there isn’t a CONUS company that offers something similar made from laminate.
well the companies that make the laminates worth a damn keep discontinuing products so there’s that.
I wonder why that is– lack of sales? Not enough of a market for laminates to make it worth their while? I would love if Matbock produced a low-profile belt in their Ghost material.
It’s not laminate, but it does the job:

I saw that…I already have a couple belts like those, was looking for something that was even more low profile if I were to pick up another belt. Thanks for the link, though!
Tasmanian Tiger has laminated belts on Amazon for $12 that are fantastic. The buckle isn’t designed for heavy loads but how many of us are packing a double stack 1911
