ACS Industries – Grenade Trigger Pouch Suite

We’ve mentioned the grenade trigger pouches from Israel’s Advanced Combat Solutions Industries in the past. Made from composite materials, it facilitates one-handed removal of the grenade and can be used by both the right and left handed. All versions incorporate seven safety mechanisms.

The line includes both Frag Grenade Trigger Pouch off the M67 and M26 as well as specialized models for the following Flashbang Grenades: Rheinmetall NICO and Rheinmetall MK13, CTS 7290 (Mini), Safriland Low Roll II.

The PALS compatible mounting system allows the pouch to be mounted at various angles.

Coming soon is the new Trigger Mag set to debut during Milipol.

Are these the grenade pouches S&S Precision was distributing?

I get why you wouldn’t want a frag grenade falling off your gear and rolling away but why would you want a locking mechanism on a magazine pouch?

It’s adjustable tension on the magazine carrier.

It makes TOO much sense for all Maritime Units (Boarding Units), to Parachuting, to High-Angle Intervention teams!
I use the Gear4Grunt RAMPs since years successfully for that application and ALWAYS wished for a simple mag catch with release instead of some friction lock. Sadly, this product is not suitable for plate carriers (mounting 3 mags), nor for left hand usage. I would instantly and without a second thought upgrade all my 5.56 AR pouches to this one (well, just 4-5 at my setup) if it would be easy to use them on a plate carrier. By the way: Dust protection is something really unique woth the Gear4Grunt RAMPs, so I hope this 2019!!! released Product (sorry SSD, its nothing new!) will offer the same advantage.

In general terms, secured equipment is the most important part these days.
The main reason is that most of the encounters today are in heavily populated areas, in which pick-pocketing of equipment has become a major issue
Furthermore, the purpose of locking magazines eases the process of releasing it, as there is a spring that quickens the process of exchanging magazines
