SHOT Show 22 – Dillon Rifle Co Jalapeño

The Jalapeño from Dillon Rifle Co is Green on the outside and Hot on the inside.

Based on the Dillon Minigun barrel covers, the Jalapeño is designed to accept the hot business end of a firearm complete with suppressor and attached enablers. A strap with Fidlock buckle keeps it in place.

At $50, it’s a steal.

Dillon if you are looking at this its a cool idea but why cut it to cover the magazine? why not cut it to stop under the barrel nut and have the excess material be up top where it provides some protection to the optic? Same principle but tilted up. I’d use it with ATV’s and UTV’s then to protect the weapon but without the bulk of a true gun case.

Looks like you could put the gun in “upside down” to achieve a similar effect.

Click the link provided and it takes you to the product page where there are several pictures, one of which shows the cover upside down with the magazine located where the case is split, instead of how it is pictured with the optic in the split as pictured above.
