I looked into the smokeless range and laser ammo at the start of the ammo-pocalypse of 2020, then on and off since but the combination of IPSC targets and the multi target system is a good idea. I went the Airsoft route and have BBs everywhere…but I do like seeing the impacts. Their smokeless range program makes duck hunter or Time Crisis arcades seem light years ahead of their time though, how it’s 2022 and the entry level graphics and “games” are that bad is beyond me considering it costs $3,705 on midway right now.

Hi there, I just wanted to address your question about the graphics and the price of the Smokeless Range. The issue is that overwhelmingly our average customer has a less than gaming-ready Windows laptop that does not have the power to run those graphics let alone process the camera frames from the tracking camera at the same time without missing shots. We actually go through a lot of refinement to keep the software overhead to a minimum to ensure most customers can use their existing PC and not have to buy a $1000 plus PC to run the system. We of course would love to use advanced gaming graphics. But, we have decided that making it more usable and concentrate on training content outweighs pretty graphics. Unfortunately, the reality is that the real issue is that in 2022 you still need an expensive PC to run high-end gaming engine graphics. As a last note on price, The Smokeless Range starts at $599. With all the add-ons, which not everyone needs, you can get up to that $3705 price point. If anyone has any questions on anything seen in the video please reach out to us at Laser Ammo and we are always happy to help answer them.
