   Modified (Raid) green dominant ERDL RDF cut, McRae jungle boots, D3A gloves ,muslin bandage triangular, velocity jungle kit with a new placard.

   “OG” Jungle boots, ERDL gen 2 pattern fatigues, MFRC jungle rig with a VS placard bolted on the suspenders (good idea) And of course no tropical setup is complete without the OD triangle bandage/bandana/do rag.

     D3A utility gloves, standard issue up through the 90’s at least, though they did add a pleat over the first knuckle mid 90’s. Good work gloves but the fit was always a little off because they were made to be used with wool liners.

     There was also a beefed up version for rappelling that was a light tan color.

       I wore those glove in the late 80 at Ft. Sherman jungle warfare school for protection from Black Palm. Needles went right through them.

     Makes me feel old that these D3A Gloves, Leather, W/ Wool Insert, are now a historic footnote. Probably still got a few pairs somewhere…
