Cadillac, MI, March 16, 2023 – Valiant Dynamics, LLC (Valiant Dynamics) today announces a successful commercial product launch of the EvolvR Combat Stock in all 50 states.
Born out of the body armor industry, the EvolvR Combat Stock is a replacement buttstock for mil-spec and commercial buffer tubes featuring a first-in-class patent pending, eight-position, rubberized spur-catch that rotates and locks in place to grip the shoulder strap of the tactical plate carrier, body armor vest, chest rig, load bearing equipment, backpack, or other tactical gear for superior and stable placement in the pocket of the shoulder.
“The common complaint of gear in the shoulder pocket and the rifle slipping off the shoulder strap is always discussed at trade shows, expos, and industry days by warfighters, law enforcement professionals, and special operators.” Todd Olson, partner, Valiant Dynamics.
The EvolvR eliminates the need to modify or abandon marksmanship fundamentals when wearing armor and tactical gear so the user can create a stable position, gain proper sight alignment, and manage recoil for rapid return to target and faster follow-up shots without the stock slipping off the shoulder strap or colliding with the hard amor plate.
The EvolvR Combat Stock was tested and evaluated across the US with an 89% recommendation rate. It is available online in both telescoping and fixed editions, and comes in Black, Flat Dark Earth (FDE), Olive Drab, and Dark Grey. The EvolvR White Paper, downloadable on the Valiant Dynamics website, details the EvolvR Combat Stock’s design, development, and launch process.
On TheFirearmBlog.com someone mentioned this looked like a tactical fleshlight, and now I’ll never be able to look at this “buttstock” the same way again.
I’d question anyone’s judgement who stuck their wedding tackle into something with spikes.
You could have just called me by name.
Did they mean for it to look like a meat tenderizer?
Maybe it works but it sure looks goofy AF.
Duostock looked worse.
Considering the first Crye vest with big ol shoulder notches didn’t catch on, I don’t see how this will.
I thought the same thing. Those didn’t lock in as well as originally thought and this looks like it could dig in where you wouldn’t want it to by accident.
May look like a flesh light or a meat tenderizer, but it fucking works.
… improving bad stance by more weight on a product, and disabling ambi use. Sure it does. Eric… Staff of this company?!
‘Just train yourself to catch our patented *spikelock* at that one really specific point of your plate carrier (you’re using the plate carrier in the picture, every time you expect to use this rifle, right?) and 75% of the time it will work 100% of the time.’
It all started with a sketch almost ten years ago, but I wish I would have been the one to bring it to market.
I think if they made replacement buttpads with the same design intent but for the CTR and B5 stocks, they would likely do well.
“The EvolvR Combat Stock was tested and evaluated across the US with an 89% recommendation rate.” Ooooooook.
If you want a good stable shooting position, you can get it without using this monstrosity.
This probably works as intended for a fully suited up 11B about to “Bring It” as part of a raid or patrol but it looks like it would be terrible to use at 3am in your silkies needing to sling some freedom seeds because because goatboy and goatboy junior got some of their buddies inside the wire.
For what it’s worth I like those round rubber butt pads from the grenade launchers because they are sticky on anything from your full PC to bare skin when you’re forced to defend your FOB in various states of undress.
Rubber spikes with a beefier extended tab to dig under straps or edges is really cool but not having at least 3 inches of downward strut to distribute the pressure into you your natural shoulder pocket or chest means it’s only “cool” under very specific circumstances .
That thing looks awesome! BUUUT is there a left handed variant???
It will rotate 360*, so it can accommodate shooters standing on the wrong side of the gun.
