ADS Federal Range Day – Angel Armor

Relative newcomer to the market displayed their armor panels which will fit inside a vehicle door panel.

I know their website is spartan but the stiff works. The technology was initially developed in the aerospace industry where size and weight reign supreme. They’ve been refining the armor and demonstrating all over the place.

What’s the cost and why is it better than the factory installed armor?

    • sean says:

factory installed armor is 5 to 6x the weight – better is a relative term. looking to stop the flyer or 80% of threats?

If the concern is the 20%, why don’t officers wear Level 4 armor all day?

I want to see an aerial view of the Trijicon Range anyone know its location other than outside of Fredricksburg VA???

I could give two shit if their website is spartan. If they make a quality product that saves lives, THAT’S what I’m interested in. Pretty damn impressive video, can’t wait to see weight, compatibility and pricing specs!

  4. mark says:

Curious what the weight per square foot and V50 are.

  5. james says:

so it stops pistol fire… what about rifle rounds? and I see the regulator patch… how thick is it? there is almost no room in a Charger door?
