MilSim West – Baofeng Radio Pouch

MilSim West is a Veteran-owned and operated Military Simulation/Wargaming company. They have partnered with Tactical Tailor to produce a ‘100% US make and materials’ line of softgoods marketed towards the MilSim and Wargaming market. One of their newest products resulting from this partnership is the Baofeng Radio Pouch.

Baofeng Radio Pouch

The Baofeng Radio Pouch is sized to fit one of the most commonly used radios in MilSim, Airsoft, and Wargaming, the Baofeng UV-5R. This radio is inexpensive and easy to program, however it is also sized too small to fit in standard Military-spec radio pouches. The pouch is sized for the UV-5R with the extended battery pack, and can fold down, allowing the user to view the screen of the radio and make any adjustments through the vinyl window.

Find a pouch that you actually need, already sold out :/

    • Matt says:

Contact Tactical Tailor directly. They will build anything you need if they don’t already have it in stock. I’m always ordering crazy sized molle gear from them. They are quick and it’s right the first time. You will never go wrong with em.

        Matt,

These are made by Tactical Tailor for MilSim West exclusively (OEM). If you want them you will need to order through MilSim West.

      Daniel,

Thanks for your interest! You weren’t the only one interested as we sold out in less than 24 hours. We just added a pre-order option to the product page if you are interested in pre-ordering it.

The fung is actually a dang good comm for the money. Especially for the preppers out there. Can outfit a whole family unit for cheap and with the right ant. set up get great distance. I will def. purchase a couple of these. 90% of my kit is TacTailor so I know they make some of the best, but here is a question: Since this stuff is for the airsoft crowd, is it built to the same spec as the “meant for combat” products that Tactical Tailor makes?

    • Brian C. says:

      Matt,

Great question regarding the quality. This is 100% made to the same spec as the Tactical Tailor products “meant for combat” – neither Tactical Tailor nor MilSim West would have it any other way.

If you’re interested – we added a pre-order option to the website.

      – Brian

    • StormFuror says:

That’s a great question. I’d like to know the answer myself. I can’t imagine Tactical Tailor would change their quality. It is crazy how much the mil sim guys put into their hobby though.

I’ve been trying to figure out a way to get in good with the comm guys in my company so I can take my baochang out to the field and use it with PRC-148s instead of signing for one and possibly getting NJP’d for losing/breaking it. This pouch fits my needs!

    • darrel says:

      EDIT: PRC-153s, the Motorola XTS2500s, not PRC-148s.

I realize there is no possibly way to broadcast and recieve on the same freqs as green gear with a baofeng!

Can anyone confirm if it fits the Baofeng BF-F8HP (https://baofengtech.com/bf-f8hp)
