They should just incorporate an IR strobe and some glint tape into this thing (you already have a power source and housing) so you can get an all in one item on top of the helmet.

I say this every time but… we keep making lighter and lighter helmets only to come up with more and more stuff to strap to them.

Is there a price point on these yet?

      • Eric Dobbie says:

The standard MOHOC is $549 and the IR enabled MOHOC is $749.

MOHOC IR is optimized for darkness and IR light so the video is black and white. It offers the same video quality and image sharpness as the standard version, however since it is tuned to the night all the video is black and white in day or night recordings. IR version will be launching in Q1 2016.

The standard MOHOC is currently on backorder due to large initial demand with new stock available in 30 days.

They need to offer these in red for people who want to go for the Yondu look.

Awesome idea. One thing this solution has instantly over the current GoPro offerings is the replaceable batteries, and to use 123s is genius.

      I wish them luck.
