Revolutionary MOHOC® Cameras, the first helmet cameras to be fully ruggedized for operational use, continue to be deployed with Armed Forces around the world.

Already in service with NATO countries, these military-optimized cameras are now being procured by Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies across the globe.

Recent contracts with various Military and Law Enforcement Agencies throughout Asia Pacific, South America and GCC countries add to a rapidly expanding number of countries deciding MOHOC® Cameras are the helmet camera for their personnel to wear in training exercises and in theatres of operation.

Unlike ordinary sport action cameras MOHOC® Cameras have a unique, low profile form-factor which matches the shape of a helmet for secure, snag-free fitting. They have simple, easy-to-use controls and come fully ruggedized with an IP68 rating, waterproofing to 10m and are drop-proof to 2m. The tactically designed MOHOC® Cameras record high quality 1080p HD video and 12 MP photos and are available in both Visible Light and Infrared models.

A range of accessories have been developed to increase the capabilities of MOHOC® Cameras, including a replacement door that enables the camera to be ‘hardwired’ for continuous power supply and video streaming, and a K9 harness that provides dog handlers the capability to see exactly what their dog detects. An easy-to-use iOS and Android app allows streaming, playback and recording control of the camera.

Visit the MOHOC® Cameras team at Booth N5-402 for a demonstration of these game-changing cameras or contact John Prosser, Director of International Sales for more information.

Sneak Peek – MOHOC K9 Head Harness

Wednesday, May 11th, 2016

By now, I’m sure you’re familair with the MOHOC camera so I’m not going to spend a lot of time going over its capabilities. I’d rather show you this new K9 head harness. Instead of mounting the camera on the dog’s back, this version puts it on top of the K9’s head for a true POV perspective.

The MOHOC K9 harness matches the curvature of your dog’s head and maintains a snag free, low profile. This snag free design allows your dog to move in confined spaces without being impeded by a large pole or camera arm on their back. The K9 harness is adjustable both around the collar and in front of the ears, allowing you to securely attached the harness and camera to your working dog.

The K9 Head Harness will be offered in Black or Tan.

DSC07215

It’s been a while since we last posted anything on the MOHOC Elite Ops Camera, and while nothing has changed with the camera itself, there are two new updates worth covering. First, it’ll be available for general purchase very soon; we were told approximately within a week after SHOT. Until now, sales have generally been restricted to Military and Law Enforcement. The second announcement is MOHOC is working on developing a line of accessories for the Elite Ops Camera.

DSC07221

This is the Flat Surface Mount. This mount not only accounts for the curvature of the MOHOC camera, providing a flat surface for the camera to sit on, but it also features a 1/4″ thread and two mounting sockets on the bottom.

This mount mates with any accessories which utilize a 1/4″ screw, such as the generic miniature tripod seen below:

MOHOC also developed a KeyMod compatible attachment system which mates with the mounting sockets on the flat mount, allowing for users to attach the Elite Ops Camera to their weapon.

MOHOC also developed this GoPro mount-compatible adapter, due to the wide availability GoPro accessories on the market, and their wide adoption.

What you see below is a Dog mount for the MOHOC, which is worn like a collar and positions the the camera right between the dog’s ears.

Below is a shoulder strap adapter, which attaches to a shoulder strap on a pack or armor carrier.

Finally, MOHOC has developed a nylon carrying case for the Elite Ops Camera.

Additionally, MOHOC has been working on an accessory door which features cut outs for the HDMI and USB ports inside the Elite Ops Camera.

    MDM – MOHOC Helmet Camera

    Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015

The MOHOC Elite Ops Camera is a military-optimized camera developed with a specific form factor designed to be mounted to the top of a helmet. In addition to 140 deg FOV capture of 1080 full motion HD video, the 12 MP camera will also take stills. In fact, you can capture stills and video simultaneously. Additionally, the lens rotates so it will remain horizontally oriented regardless of where it is mounted.

The MOHOC has been drop tested to 2 meters and is waterproof to 10 meters. Finally, the MOHOC not only contains a Lithium Ion power cell (2 hours) but will also accept two CR123A batteries (~6 hours).

The MOHOC is expected to begin shipping this Summer. An IR Greyscale variant will also be available.
