    It looks like one of the Network Custom Guns (NCG) Gas Gun conversions.

    Yes! This is the next leap forward for combat/competition pistols. It would keep the red dot from being beaten to death and possibly change the way we grip the pistol. Dunno who designs this but hope it catches on.

    It looks like an upper Hogue made a few years ago for the 1911, Hogue Avenger I think it was called.

    I was thinking about this the other day; Is the only reason why we haven’t just milled a rail section on to the back of a slide for a rds just due to the fact that it would put it even higher above the bore?

      K.C. Crawford is doing that for some of his Bullseye pistol builds. With an Aimpoint Micro H1, the sun shade tubes are barely clearly the top of the slide.

    I believe the pistol in question is a 1911 frame with a Houge Avenger Match slide fitted. They claimed a great increase in accuracy with the “addition of the Match Slide, in only a few minutes.”
    I’ve never shot one, but, I’ve handled a couple of them over the years. There are, or were different models of the slide you could buy. You could pick which ever upgrades you wanted, Ala Cart so to speak.
