As we speak a team of Marine Raiders and two spouses of those killed March 10th 2015 are rucking from the crash site of Mojo 69 in Navarre FL to Camp Lejeune NC. On March 25th, the Marine Raider Memorial March will be holding an auction to finish the event off with style.
They are looking for high-quality gear/kit to auction off. If your company is willing to donote goods for the auction, please reach out to the Brothers in Arms Foundation directly: contact@brothersinarmsfoundation.org
All donations are considered tax deductible.
I am super impressed with what these men and women are doing, we will be hosting them at Daniel Defense tomorrow at our Ridgeland, SC factory and I am excited to get to meet them. Please support their cause.
Iceman: Hopefully, DD will take are of the two rifles (M4A1 & Mk18) for the guys.
Isn’t it a bit much to dedicate a whole MONTH to one small group? Surely we could pack it into a week. But having a whole March spent in the name of Marine Raiders seems like overkill…
You must not be a Marine. We are so awesome that we should have a whole year dedicated to the Marine Corps.
Overkill? Haven’t you heard that’s why God loves us? Because we overKill everything we see! Now go pound sand.
I know I’m probably taking the bait here, but……I think they mean march as in ruck march. Doesn’t matter if it was a week, month, year etc anyways. Brothers honoring their fallen is always a welcome thing (although no one wishes such a tragedy to happen in the first place). I was honored to know a few. I wish the ruck teams well on their journey and rest in peace for those that were lost.
Never Above you, Never Below You, Always Beside You.
Good Lord, it’s ruck march. It’s clear if you actually read the article.
Tracking. I was attempting to clue snarky in while simultaneously stressing that even if they did mean March (month) so what of it? Apologies if my comment came of in any other way.
Snarky: March as in road march!
Ha, that pun went over better than expected. Sorry i should have made it more obvious haha.
