SIG SAUER - Never Settle

Blade Show – Firecraft by White River Knives

This is the Firecraft line by White River Knives. They are available in 4″, 5″ and 7″ blade variants.

The production knives have Green Micarta handles with a thin band of Orange G10 closest to the tang. The blade is made from S30V with a .19″ thickness. The Firecraft also uses Stainless hardware throughout.

A cool feature is the Hardened stainless bow drill divot inset to the right side of the handle. When the knife is in its Kydex sheath, the divot remains exposed for safe use as a base for a bow drill.

That 4inch is a good lookin blade, great design for an all around camp knife.

May have to add this to the collection. Thanks SSD

I don’t understand the US opposition to the Scandinavian grind. It is the easiest to maintain the field using a simple sharpening stone rather than special tools to get the angle just right. I realize that it isn’t s perfect grind, but there is a reason why almost all high end knives used by professional bushcrafters in Europe use them.

That being said, this knife still looks like it has a lot of well thought out features built in.

Idk i love the looks of these knives but I would rather spend 220 for a custom handle BK 7 with custom g10 handles and a custom made kydex sheath with firesteel/tek lok and Crovan steel over a 320$ 7″ firecraft : /

If this knife was price close enough to that I would be lined up for one. I can say I may still get a 4 or 5″ just to support the knife maker but my wallet still won’t like it.
