Does it stay folded? Looked on website and couldn’t find an answer.

Did this get ATF approval? If so I’m shocked. This looks like a stock with some elastic wrapped around it.

  That’s what they all look like, except that the arm channel is split and it’s not elastic, but rather Velcro.

  like SSD says, this is pretty much how all “arm brace stabilizers” look….. somehow Sig got theirs (the first as far as I know) ATF approved, and it opened the door for all the subsequent manufactures…….
  
  Now that these are approved, they may as well throw SBR’s in with the bill removing suppressors from the NFA……

    As I recall Sig bought a design from a guy who’d originally made it to help his one armed friend be able to shoot an AR. It was actually not designed to be shouldered and there was pretty strong evidence of that.
    
    As for the rest the SBR part of the NFA is pretty much dead if the ATF is gonna approve designs that seem pretty clearly intended to be shouldered. Hard to argue against that when you’re promo shots show it being shouldered.

      There are no promo shots of this brace being shouldered. It is great for one handed, cheek, and cheek/chest shooting.

      That’s obviously being “chested”, not shouldered… 😉
      
      I agree though, completely useless with all these exceptions. Which is FINE with me.

I have one and it is a well made piece of gear. Priced on the high side, no doubt because of the limited market for this particular brace, but it is very well made, installed easily, very solid feeling. It provides an uncomfortably short LOP if you, oh, say…brace it on your chest. It secures in both open/closed positions with a very firm and positive tactical lock up.
