Help Bill Jarvis’s Family Out

Bill Jarvis is a friend of mine and many of you as well. Unfortunately, Bill needs our help.

For those of you who don’t know him, Bill Jarvis is also a 23 year Retired Navy SEAL who served his country with honor. Bill just found out he has EML leukemia and is currently undergoing Chemo Treatments at Duke University. Bill has to spend a month at Duke University for his initial Chemo Treatment. His wife Laura has been by his side for the last 2 weeks. With his wife and children livining 4 hours away, the plan is to set up lodging for the family to stay by Bill’s side for this month and the follow up treatments.

This is Bill along with our mutual friend, Ron Bellan at Duke Medical Center. Ron has organized a GoFundMe for Bill.

Mr. Jarvis has been battling health issues for the last couple years with 2 heart atacks, 4 stents put in, and now finding out he has Leukemia. This has not broken his spirit or his family’s spirit. If there is anything we, as his friends, brothers, family can do to support the Jarvis family, it’s to take some of the financial burdon off of him so he can concentrate on living.

The funds will be used for additional Medical Expenses, Mortgage payments, Wife and children’s travel and living expenses to and from Virginia Beach to the hospital, along with additional expenses for their needs. Any additional funding over the amount needed will be donated to Duke University Hospital for further cancer research.

Bill is the main provider for the family. With Bill in the hospital, income for the bills has dropped and the family will be in need of assistence. The goal is to stay ahead of the financial burdon on the Jarvis family during this time of need. You are not only giving to the Jarvis family today, but the families of cancer tomorrow. Bill is adamant about donating any left over funding to the Duke University Cancer center.

Thank you all for your support in this very time of need.

    Damn. Fuck cancer! Donated

Ditto on the cancer! We lost our beautiful Alapaha Blue Blood one year ago today to cancer. I will donate in Madison’s memory and for Bill’s service to this fine America.

Get well Bill, prayers up for you, your family and your doctors. Kick this cancers ass!

This really bothers me, I know there’s an aftermath of an attack across the great pond and our well wishes to those there.

Now I don’t know Bill Jarvis but being a husband and father I know many of us have this thing called PRIDE and it can interfere with us taking everything from help with directions to strangers helping with financial hardships. I know my wife relies on me as the bread winner and I would do anything to protect her and provide for her and my kids and being unable to do so is a kick in the gut.

So what I want to do is match every one who donates $25 and I’ll do that up to $1000. Just state in here that you donated $25 so your $25 becomes $50. Hell it costs at least $25 to see a movie these days or dinner out, so sacrifice that movie or dinner and let’s give Bill peace of mind that his bills will be taken care of for a time.

I have never served in the military or law enforcement but I do know that the call is, “No man left behind” and a fire team covers one another, eh? I’m not a wealthy man money wise but last year was good for us and I can do this right now.

My real name is Anthony Orosco, I live and work in the great state of Texas, I own a business and my reason for stating such is so everyone knows I ain’t just shooting crap out here.

    Thank You

Dellis – awesome of you to step up and match contributions! I just donated $25 to Bill’s fund.

      Good on you Dellis.
      $25 from me.

    • SSD says:

Isn’t that incredibly generous of you. Thank you!

      • Dellis says:

LOL, at first I read that SSD and shook my head but then realized it must be a typo!

Is there a way this can be made to hang up top for just a bit more? I know there has to be more people donating than just us 5 or 6.

Also a progress report of just how he is doing in coming days and weeks would be great also.

Once you donate, you’ll get updates. For example, Bill’s hair is falling out, however, I understand that glorious beard we see here, is also getting patchy.

      Done.
      Dellis, you are the man.
