Magna Tactics Releases New Magnetic Latching EDC Belt

One June 6th, Magna Tactics launched their Kickstarter campaign for a unique new magnetic latching belt called the Magna Belt. This belt is an innovative and fast latching belt tailored for both normal, and concealed carry use. Starting at $65 for an early bird special, the Magna Belt is a sturdy and rugged belt made to revolutionize the belt market. It boasts many features unique to an EDC belt making it stand out from the crowd.

      I like the concept, but the laser marking ruins it. Put it on the back so it’s out of view when latched closed and I’d buy one in a heartbeat.

        Their marketing team needs to be let go.

        The laser marking goes well with the Serpa holster, behind the hip draw, in the pic. WHO does that ??

        Hey Jeremy,

        We will be rolling out our stealth option onto the Kickstarter page soon. It will hide the logo under the strap in use. We’ve had lots of comments about this and wish to please, so it’s now going to happen!

        Thanks for the Carbon Tactics plug. I was thinking about the Magna belt but I think I like the CT one better. It’s just cleaner without all the logos.

        Are those the guys that ripped off the Fidlock magnetic buckle? Seems everyone now is ripping off Fidlock.

        Hey demure,

        While there are lots of similarities between our two products, the Magna Belt boasts some features that the quicky does not.

        Our belt will slide through normal sized belt loops, and stay adjusted in place, where as the quicky has to be taken apart, and re adjusted to put it on a pair of pants.

        The Magna Belt also features much more powerful polymagnets, that also self align, where as the quicky uses normal magnets, that simply can’t compare to the polymagnet strength, and functionality.

        As for looks we will be rolling out a stealth option as well where the logo is hidden, thus giving the belt a sleeker look for those who want it. We are also trying to get other strap colors in the mix, but it isn’t certain if this will happen in time for the Kickstarter yet.

        Hope that helps clear up some differences.
