FirstSpear Friday Focus – Wind Cheater In Manatee Grey

Back in stock in Manatee Grey the all-season FirstSpear Wind Cheater is constructed from an ultra light brushed 330D Ambush that breathes like a t-shirt and still sheds wind and light moisture with a DWR coating. Don’t expect a water proof rain jacket but rather a very light and fast drying garment that works exceptionally well as a layering component or stand alone item you can keep packed away in a small pack or pocket for year round use. Extra large hood with several points of adjustment works great with a hat or bump lid.

Orders over $150 ship with a free 32oz water bottle, seen below.

I like the version FS makes for Hill People Gear. Looks less tactical and can be fitted with an optional real fur hood edging, who doesnt want to wear real fur to upset the bunny huggers
That Hill People jacket is a purchase later this year

Just went to hill people gear website to check out. Looks nice but does the FS piece doe’s not look anymore tactical than the HPG version, except for the pockets on the upper arms.

I bought the HPG model and the wolf fur edging. It isn’t to upset the daintier members of society but rather because real fur actually works to keep the condensation from your breath from icing up. Fake fur doesn’t, it’s all for show.

However, both models are made by FS from the same material.
