SHOT Show 18 – Viktos

Viktos is a new clothing brand which has one foot planted in the off road world and the other in shooting sports. It’s a great combination. I had seen it on Instagram for several months and my friend Dan Brokos has been wearing their stuff, but SHOT Show was my first chance to check it out in person. I like what I see. Although Viktos offers a full line, which even includes boot and gloves, I’m going to present you with two pants and one short.

I dig the jeans. Are they sized for IWB carry, or is it best to go up a size?

    • Mosrr says:

They appear to be sized (from their site) normally—without regard to iwb carry, so consider waist appropriately while factoring in the stretch part of it. Also they seem to be somewhat slimmer cut.

  2. Class03180S says:

By “Slimmer cut” I think you mean “skinny jeans for hipster fucks”. So no…this is a hard pass for me. Also, those khaki pants look like something a woman wears to the beach. I kept look for their “Tactical” capri pants.

  3. MM says:

Isn’t that the idea of being discreet? Look like a hipster fuck so that no one suspects that inside your lady capris, you’re a well-armed death dealer.

    • dan187 says:

I call it “hippyflage”, dress in manner normal to those in your area/age/gender and no one will take notice. This doesn’t mean you to wear skinny jeans, or clothes you don’t like. Showing up in tactical pants, and jackets with bicep pockets with big patch panels on them, Gadsden shirt, Velcro panel hat, and combat boots draws the eye though.

      • Matty says:

But if I don’t show up to the mall in my multicam pants and 5.11 shirt how will people know that I’m not to be trifled with?
