Mine came in yesterday. They look great. Altama eliminated the pull loop on the back of the shoe, the loop was a failure point on my old pair of boots, seam started ripping the second time i put them on when i used the loop to pull the boot over my heel. Waiting for the SSD pair to come in. Just beed to find some slick rocks to play on.
The pull loop was eliminated specifically for this shoe, it is not a generational change to future OTBs. MM had it eliminated on request.
Jon are you still getting the Ranger Green ones in next year? did you get any mods? Also, are you getting the low cut versions in RG?
We are doing mid-top Ranger Green, it is an exclusive to us, and depending on how sales go from that, we may do a low top as well.
No mods, we kept original design integrity, the rear loop is a functional part of the shoe for OTB operations.
Damnit, not good for my pocket book. Don’t know how well an 11R will fit. Worse case scenario I can resell these and get an 11W in multicam black.
