Rampart Range Day 19 – Salewa Mountain Trainer Lite Mid GTX

You’re getting a sneak peek of the Mountain Trainer Lite Mid GTX from Salewa which will be available next year.

It features a suede and fabric upper and uses the Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane which is becoming very popular with European footwear.

As you can see, it’s offered in a Black configuration. The sole is a proprietary design by Vibram specifically for this shoe.

Salewa Footwear is available in Canada from Rampart International.

    The Salewa Mtn Training Mid GTX is a great boot, so I am sure this one will perform well too. I just wish they would offer it in a non-goretex version as well.

            Agreed! I was talking to SSD Actual about this exact topic recently. Every mid seems to be GTX these days. The unicorn shoe is a lightweight non-GTX mid, with approach rubber and ideally coming in a wide size.
