China produces 8x more lead than U.S. Plan to see a major increase in cost for ammo as lead becomes scarce here, and no plans for increases in domestic mining. The freight alone from back-up sources like Australia and S. America will be stiff. I am glad to see bullet innovation like this, especially when you and I will be competing with governments (ours included) to buy ammo. You all recall the big .40cal purchase in 2013 by DHS ? Three years later, all of DHS moves to 9mm platforms. We should’ve been buying 9mm. Eye on the ball folks.

it is nice that they are packaging it like this. It is also nice that we now have another set of practice and defense rounds that shoot and hit the same way. But, a quick look at the .40 ammo shows that you can buy the boxes separately at a number of vendors for less than the combo pack, by about $10.00. Of course, the price shown above is likely their suggested manufacturers retail price, and it will be sold for less by the online vendors. So, do what works for you, buy their combo pack or buy them separately. I will be interested to see what price the online vendors use.
