Had me up until “gore-tex sweat box”, way to destroy a good boot from any warmer applications in the torrid, arid or tropic regions of the world.
Yes, I concur. I have a pair in black and in tan, depending on what the uniform of the day is…neither of which are goretex. TD, please release this exact boot without the goretex.
I love the goretex, got a rude awakening when I switched to the Mk IIs and found out they were not waterproof. In MN its a necessity half the year. This thing is designed as an urban boot, not a tropical jungle boot.
Why anyone would want a boot to be goretex is beyond me, simply wear goretex socks.
