SIG SAUER - Never Settle

Huckberry x Mystery Ranch 2-Day Assault Collaboration

Offered in an exclusive Desert and Hunter Orange colorway, this is the Huckberry version of Mystery Ranch’s popular 2-Day Assault.

For those of you unfamiliar with the 2-Day Assault, think of it as a little brother to the 3-Day Assault which has become a staple for military load carriage for the US military as well as many of our allies.

Mystery Ranch created the 27 Liter 2-Day Assault as an EDC pack for their outdoor line. It retains the classic waterproof three zip opening and PALS webbing of its bigger brother, along with the two dual adjustment buckles to keep your load secure. The lid incorporates two zippered pockets and there are external pockets on either side of the pack bag with elastic for water bottles or other items.

Inside the main compartment there is a large padded laptop sleeve as well as side zippered access to a document/tablet sleeve pocket. Additionally, there are two zippered mesh pockets in the main compartment

To support the load, there’s a full-length plastic frame sheet, adjustable padded yoke with sternum strap, and removable webbing waist belt.

This model features a Desert outer and bright Hunter Orange interior as well as zipper pulls and comes with an exclusive patch.

Available exclusively from huckberry.com.

If this model isn’t for you, but you still want an MR 2-Day Assault, just in a different color, check out www.mysteryranch.com or one of their many retailers.

Great gear! Been using MR packs for 10+ years now, keep up the good work!

I like the tan/orange interior – not as blatantly tactical for EDC. But the Huckberry site only shows one size. The MR site shows both S/M and L/XL. I can’t tell from the dimensions which size the Huckberry version is.

    Does anyone know? Thanks.

If you go to any other color, black, foilage or coyote it says the measurements are from the L/XL size…the Huckberry x MR pack has the same measurements so it appears to be L/XL as well. At least that’s how I read it.

Thank you all – great answers. Alpha2 nailed it – the torso/waist measurements are for the L/XL. That’s good news, I need the bigger one. I’ll let you know how it feels when I take it out on the trail.

I may be able to help Mike. I have several MR packs. The issued made in USA variety are sized by an adjustable velcro shoulder yoke that can be moved up or down according to the wearer’s height. They do not have fixed straps for size. This means a Small can be turned into a Large and vice versa. I also have one of their civilian day packs. This pack does not have yoke height adjustment. If this Huckberry pack does not have listed sizes I believe it probably lacks the option to adjust yoke height. I hope this helps!

Good attempt Lcpl0420, let me help clarify a few things:

The Huckberry pack is L/XL sizing as that fits the widest range of body types.

You can turn a small into a large by purchasing a different sized yoke but, simply adjusting the yoke to a different position doesn’t change the actual size, just the way the yoke fits.

This Huckberry pack does have a fully adjustable yoke.

      Hope that helps
