Vertx Firebase Parabellum Bandolier

It’s a bit unconventional. The four pouches can be configured upside or down and are sized to fit AR magazines, IFAKs, radios and other tools. To assist with retention, there’s overlapping elastic and Silicone printing inside the mag pouches.

As you can see, the mesh harness can be reconfigured so the Firebase Parabellum Bandolier can be worn as a conventional chest rig or under either arm.

There’s also a center stow pocket which can be used to store sensitive items like IDs and documents or IFAK.

Does anyone else feel like they’ve jumped the shark? What started out as innovative and a real attempt to enhance a market segment is now a quarterly guess at trying to make something cool that is questionable at best.

No, it’s low profile and intended to be worn under outer garments. It fits right in with their DNA.

Seems like they had their intern design some stuff and they just went with it. Like that Simpsons episode when Homer designs a car.

I have a vertx messenger bag and now a vertx/unity clutch belt. I really like the messenger bag for work but cannot use the “tactigami” holster with my pistol due to the slide (may have to cut it to make it semi work), but other than that the bag has been great. I like that there isn’t a ton of molle on the outside making it less “tactical” in the work environment. I see an application for this product and would love to see them work with first spear or blueforce to create more medical/organizational products (like the dapper kits from BFG) that work with their bags.

I am looking forward to seeing more from them in the future.

I don’t see how you could look at Blue Force Gear’s bando option and come up with this as an alternative design. It looks like it wants to be a Trapper Keeper with straps.
