Mhhhh,
as hemostatic agend I only allow organic components in my kit. Collagen often is made from animal parts, and hase allergic affects, which is why I only use Chitosan like the Celox Product line uses. in my kit due to the allergy free component. Kaolin on the other hand, like used in QuikClot, is some non organic agent and besides its exothermic reaction may cause allergic affects again. So long story short: What hemostatic agend is used with this product? I want it to contain Chitosan, than, and only than, I would maybe try this pack – but only because it includes the pressure cap. Actually, the pressure cap is the only benefit I see with this product?
