More Photos of the USAF Maintainer Duty Uniform

Here’s an update from our story on the MDU from Christmas time. Nothing has changed, just some additional photos. For those who don’t bother to click the link to the original story, that’s Sage Green, the same color as the CWU-27/P Flight Suit worn by aircrew.

$10 say that within 2 years some CSM pushes to have matching sage green patrol cap and name taps. You can stop the stupid. The services goes to one uniform for simplicity, then back to multiple uniforms for functionality and then back to one uniform for simplicity. We live in a simulation.

What a trip. USAF commanders are famous for never shaking the tree at their brief command stints, even if that’s exactly what should happen… yet uniforms are a glaring loophole. Guess the budget has to get spent somewhere.

You see it isn’t that the Marine Corps wouldn’t do this if they could… they just don’t have the budget!
