New from Strike Industries is serialized frame that comes fully assembled with GLOCK 19 Gen 3 compatible internals called the Strike Arms Pistol Compact Frame.
The textured grip angle closely resembles a 1911.
Available exclusively from Primary Arms.
Please note, this is a serialized item and requires transfer through an FFL.
True story, I woke up this morning and thought, why doesn’t anyone make any aftermarket parts that are compatible with the gen3 Glock 19?
Honest question, Why GEN3 over a more recent GEN? Is there something uber special about a GEN3? thanks.
Glock patent ran out on Gen 3, thus the explosion in clones and copies.
Had no clue, THANKS!
The Glock Gen3’s are also legal in California. However, I don’t know if this applies to other manufacturers that are now producing Gen3 clones.
There is **probably/likely** more aftermarket support for the Gen3 (17 and 19) than any other pistols.
You are correct on point 1, but this as a firearm won’t get on the list of “safe” firearms (whaaaa??) due to the lack of an external safety / other issues under current CA oppression.
And you are SUPER correct on point 2. The side-effect of CA nonsense is that the Gen3 guns have been constantly produced since 1998. If Glock was smart, they’d dedicate a 3rd shift to nothing but a factory produced Gen3 MOS slide. Which would rectify many of the problems in the aftermarket slide world / kick a bunch of people in the nutz.
