It is definitely more ergonomic in it’s lines and edges than most PC’s, and looks a bit biological. So “Carapace.”

How about another new fucking piece of kit with proprietary shit that costs to damn much, but stuff does the same damn job as my RRV and a set of plates?
If you were to spend any time learning about the system, before running your suck, John, you would know that it does a few things that NO other plate carrier does, such as allow you to position, remove and replace and all of the pieces, including the MOLLE panels.
A lot of work went into developing this thing, in order to offer a capability that did not previously exist. Have a little respect, dude.

Wow. Way to put it down. I’m not sure of the name but “Slap Dicks” would be cool. I like to call my chesty stuff training bra’s and thta is the vivtoria secret of training bra’s. I’m sure slap dicks laminate plate and frayed carrier are good for his closet or trunk but I like that piece of gear. Maybe some sort of acronym? A.P.S. (Anti Pneumothorax System) or 3-4T/5-6S for the rib count and placement? Anyway, very high speed, low draggish’. Stay sharp.

Thanks for the great suggestions so far. We have been receiving input from various sources and this is where I am leaning at this point: “C.M.A.S.” for “Core Modular Armor System” or “A.M.A.S.” for “Auxilia Modular Armor System”.
What do think–good or no good?
Name changes are (mostly) done for several of our products now. We not only changed the names, but also the theme behind the naming system.
