Silynx Releases U94 Wireless PTT

Silynx’s SOF Micro U94 is the world’s first U94 chest PTT with an associated weapon mounted Micro Wireless Push-to-Talk (WPTT). You can use the chest mounted PTT or the wireless remote which is designed to be mounted on a Mil Std 1913 rail. The Micro U94 was specifically designed as a PTT upgrade for the ComTac headset and is interoperable with AN/PRC148 MBITR/JEM and AN/PRC152.

Pretty sure they mean 148 not 138. It’s nice to see they’re shrinking that big hunk of crap down. I’ve refused to use it because the PTT is just too much and there are so many useless wires hanging from it. Hope you can dive it to 66ft like the other latest version. Some guys like it, mostly regular shooters, But comm guys hate it. Can’t deal with software update BS, battery issues, and a chick that tells you your S***s not gunna work because you’ve got sweat or water in your ears and now your buds are slipping out. Btw, have you tried to use buds for 8 hours+? it hurts. I know you can use Peltor adapters with PTT but I’d rather have a simple ass TEA PTT that doesn’t take any batteries and never fails me. Sorry to lay it out there like that, but only those guys that understand my rants are you guys. As for you other nugs, RESPECT YOUR COMMS GUY!!

It’s got some nice looking stuff. I like that JTAC 3 day pack. I’ve yet to get anything issued that fits a 117G the way I want it to with kit on. I’ve been chucking mine in a 3 day source bag. It fits snug in the bladder pouch and leaves room for a toughbook and battery. I’ve had to cut and sew a few bags to make it work. There aren’t allot of bags out there that I’ve found work well for everything I do. Allot are just too much material or too bulky straps so it doesn’t ride well. If you’ve got any other sites to scope out I’m interested. I don’t think there are enough comm guys getting out that have any desire to give there input into designing a better man pack. looks like they’ve got a custom sewing shop but I couldn’t get any details.
