Bravo Company has joined forces with Haley Strategic Partners to produce The Jack, as in “Jack of all Trades.” The technologies integrated into this carbine build are impressive, to say the least.
Built on a Bravo Company lower and upper, the 5.56mm carbine relies on BCM’s 14.5″ Government Profile Barrel (and mid-length gas system) with a permanent mounting of the brand new BCMGUNFIGHTER Compensator making it a 16″ Civilian Legal Barrel. This is paired with the excellent Geissele Super Modular Rail mounted with a BCM Diopter Front Folding Battle Sight and Rear Folding Battle Sight.
HSP also specified the ALG Defense ACT Trigger which gives you a Geissele quality trigger in a US GI package as well as the newly debuted B5 Systems SOPMOD Bravo Stock mounted to a Bravo Company receiver extension. The Jack also includes a BCM GUNFIGHTER Charging Handle and Mod I Pistol Grip. Weighing in at 6 lbs 11 oz (with light, mount and irons), The Jack incorporates the Inforce WML-HSP (Momentary Only White Light Black Body) mounted to a Haley Strategic Thorntail Offset Light Mount built by Impact Weapons Components right out of the box. All of this topped off with a custom Disruptive Grey tone Cerakote finish by Joint Force Enterprises. This gun is ready to go as soon as you pick it up from the FFL. The only thing you will want to do to upgrade The Jack is to add an optic of your choice.

Too bad? I don’t see a problem with standing behind a finished product that you helped develop. I’ve been very impressed in the past with BCM’s parts/rifles, and fail to understand why this is a bad thing for either party involved.

Maybe I just don’t get it, but what I’m seeing is a well built rifle, but there doesn’t seem to be much unusual technology integrated into it.
First use of the BCM Compensator, first use of a new Inforce light, first use of Geissele rail on a production gun, first use of B5 Systems SOPMOD Bravo stock, first use as far as I know of an ACT trigger on a production gun.
I agree. The parts being used ARE innovative products on their own but together on a production gun is a big deal from where I’m sitting.
Wonder why they went with a 10″ rail. Seems with the low pro gas block they would’ve used a longer rail system. Maybe to save some weight. What type of rounds are they using in the exercise at towards the end of the video?

Haji- He isn’t exactly warrior sized like Pat either! More than just my shooting style (arm extended fairly far forward) longer rails aid with light & laser mounting/positioning. It can also aid with supported shooting off barricades (if nothing to protect the barrel, pressure on the barrel can/will change point of impact) and of course serves the original purpose of being a heat shield protecting the user from accidental contact on a hot barrel.
Like most people, he’s a fair amount shorter than I am. Even without the other benefits, 12″ or longer rails finally let me put my support hand in a relaxed forward position, so I require them for that, even without the other benefits…which I’ll make use of.
They’re using UTM MMR rounds. That’s Ultimate Training Munitions brand Man Marking Rounds. Similar to simunitions but way better. We use them in FOF training and they are the shizzle.
It’s a seriously heavy unit, especially compared to other modular options on the market.
One could make an argument that its beefier construction affords it superior robustness, but I’m not too sure. This build would likely benefit from a slightly longer, lightweight handguard.
Been scoping out new rifles for months. After Daniel Defense started their online customization, I thought I’d be buying a DDM4. I love BCM rifles/parts so I think I may give this a hard look.

Been trying to call them for months. No one ever answers the phone.
e-mail them. They’re too busy shipping stuff to answer the phone, so e-mail is by far the best way to contact them.
USA company = Good
USA company without phone support = problem.
If they are that busy, then business is good. If business is good, then cash flow is good. If cash flow is good, then hire someone to answer the phone.
I’m sure it is just a case of growing pains, but I want to talk to a human being when I am buying something…especially of this nature.
If you can scrape a coating off with a knife it sucks. PVD treatments are the way to go. Great looking rifle but not sure what advantage it gives the end user over a SOPMOD M4?

The only glaring omission is a ambi safety.

My BCM Coyote handily smacks golfballs on a mudbank at 130yards. I’m not a door-kicker, but the quality of the BCM I have, would be fine if I were using one of their Tactical jobs for Tactical purposes.
I would really like to see somebody (manufacture company) build a civilian style stg44 chambered in a 223 caliber. A rifle identical to the German’s original stg44. If anyone know of such a company, please give me the website.
