The Luhkka is a traditional cape-style garment worn by the Sami people of the Arctic. The Fjällräven model features a shell made from their G-1000 with a Supreme Microloft synthetic lining. It is a great 3-season top and can be worn during Winter as a shell over other insulating layers if it’s extremely cold. It features a chest zipper to aid venting. In addition to a removable synthetic fur trim on the hood, the Luhkka also incorporates a zippered chest pocket and large kangaroo pocket for hand warming.

Offered in Dark Grey, Red and Tarmac/Dark Olive (Shown) in sizes XSmall – XXLarge.

    That looks sweet!
Now if only some weather garment oriented company could make such a cape with a popular waterproof membrane… oh wait!

LARPERS gone tactical. I thought I’d seen it all!

    Looks a lot like a WWII-era USGI mountain/ski parka.
