Kryptek Is Now Doing The Dew

Kryptek has partnered with Mountain Dew to produce Limited Edition ‘Kryptek Military Heroes Pack’ packaging. Regular Mountain Dew gets Highlander, and Diet Mountain Dew gets the Yeti treatment. Reportedly, only the boxes get the camo, not the cans. They come in both the 12 and 24-can packs, and you should be able to pick them up anywhere Mountain Dew is sold.

Tactical Fanboy was ‘out and about’ last night when he managed to spot these.

    …and Kryptek jumps the shark.

It’s not really that big a deal, I just hope they’re making money from this to help distribute their patterns to manufacturers.

      • maresdesign says:

This has nothing to do with distributing patterns to manufacturers. Manufacturers have to apply for a license to use the Kryptek patterns.

        • Shawn says:

“Help distribute their patterns”? Please tel me there aren’t people who think poor little Kryptek…

This is just the new business model. Hope a pattern grabs hold of the public’s imagination by making it commercially available. Create demand. Charge printing fees. Win.

    • Patrick says:

Kryptek did that LONG ago when their Typhon camouflage was featured in Call of Duty Back Ops 2.

Except for the Mountain Dew context, when have the words ‘Military’ and ‘Kryptec’ ever been used in the same sentence?
