So only his special forces band aids will hold my shelter together?? I don’t see anything special or proprietary here. Seems like he should’ve just written a book on how to survive with your first aid kit that you bought at Walmart. I’m over the “I was special forces,” so you obviously need my product!

    • SSD says:

I didn’t get that at all. Perhaps you’d be willing to discuss what’s really bothering you,

      • Whitesands says:

I have no distaste for the individual in question, first and foremost. This just seems like a very generic and basic everyday first aid kit. To start the advertisement off with his S.F. Background for something marketed to the everyday Joe seems a little out of touch with his customer base and is yet another person capitalizing on this elusive background to substantiate a product of no relevance. And to my original point, you could do this with any kit you purchase. I just don’t see anything original here. All gauze will start on fire! I’m not busting anyone’s chops here, but gauze is gauze and a band aid is a band aid. He really just seems to pitch this in a way that tries to portray that most of these basic dial purpose ideas can only be achieved with his product. Which is why I originally suggested a book on how to dual purpose general carry items!

I think Hawke has left a bad impression on folks in the past…

    • SSD says:

What does that have to do with the product? And if it does, what specifically?

      • Jack says:

I don’t know this guy from Adam, so I don’t have an impression of him at all, positive or negative, but you asked what him (possibly) having left a bad impression on folks in the past has to do with the product…when you lend your name to a product, then how others perceive you will carry over to how the product is received.

  3. NoPatentAirway says:

I stopped watching the first video after the NPA. “…so that the person can have an open, breathing airway in case they have some sort of facial trauma.” Except that NPAs are contraindicated in cases of head or facial trauma. Looks like somebody let their P-Card lapse…

  4. Miclo18d says:

Sounds like he didn’t consult his team 18D prior to inserting his cranium into his sigmoid colon.
