  2. defensor fortisimo says:

I’d have gone with viva la murdering psychopathic douchebag, but that works too.

    • KP says:

Just to make sure, you know what happened to Guevera in 1967 right?
“Muerte a la murdering psychopathic douchebags” would be a better analogue of this shirt.

This shirt is just dripping in irony from almost every angle you look at it. I’m actually digging it just because of how it can really appeal to or utterly disgust so many varied groups of people. It’s damn near poetic.

      • Mike says:

… Oh yes , really damn near poetic, the more one thinks about it. Unforunately I doubt that this
        ironie was mayflowers intention.

Another pathetic t-shirt produced by morons with no understanding of history or why people rise up against dictatorships…

    • Henrik says:

Ché was a Leninist-socialist who served in the Castro’s dictatorship government. He was not anti-dictatorship.

      So you point was?

They should have killed him when he was younger…

      • Mike says:

Ernesto “Che” Guevara was an argentinian freedom fighter, who devoted his live to fight for the rights of the poor in South- and Latin America. He fought the corrupt Batista dictatorship in Cuba. He tried to bring liberty to the South American continent but and got unlawfully executed, after being captured by bolivian military and without trial, in a dark small hut by a bolivian Soldier.

        So your point was ?

They should simply kill everyone, the younger the better, who “they” trink might become a threat for their power, their, personal wealth, and their simple view of the world one day…

        • SSD says:

Wtf? This is a goof right?

        • KP says:

He devoted his life to his ideals and the absolute value of his accomplishments is large; he was well and wholly a revolutionary in the Marxist sense but he was certainly not a fighter for freedom. He was a megalomaniac who devoted his life to the subjugation of South America under his personal vision of dictatorship, rather than the tyrannical dictatorship that generally preceded.

To be specific, he wanted access to electricity, health, education, and other basics we in the Western world take for granted except for personal liberty and freedom, as all his programs were designed to enforce one singular manner of thought. Nor was life a real value to Che, who was on the record as willing to accept millions of nuclear deaths to fight imperialism. A thorough critique of Guevera though takes more space than I want to take on SSD.

Tl;dr – Guevera was a remarkable man and a lot of things otherwise, but a pure folk hero he was not; thinking so is naive.

        • Henrik says:

“Every revolutionary ends up either by becoming an oppressor or a heretic.”

          Albert Camus.

    The only shipping options to Canada are $92 or $94 UPS…for a $15 t-shirt.

    Classy.

Wherever death may surprise us, let it be welcome, provided that this our battle cry may have reached some receptive ear and another hand may be extended to wield our weapons.

  6. ocddude says:

I don’t think you can really beat the original Che t as a fuck you to the guy. In death his image was commodified by clever capitalists and sold to gullible 20 somethings for profit. I imagine his soul trapped in the ink and screaming.

    • Dev says:

      Touche.

I personally think however that it’ll look ten times better without the red CHE on the top, just the graphic and “Another Special Forces Success Story 9 OCT 1967”

  7. Keld says:

I am actually wearing this shirt while I am reading this.
Love it and makes all the hippie backpackers here in Thailand look a second time.

the motorcycle diaries was a good move though
