Under the agreement, MAG Aerospace will provide Operators, FSRs, Training and local support for the HERO systems exclusively for UVision USA.October 18, 2021 – UVision USA – continues to strengthen its operations in the US with the signing of a cooperation agreement with MAG Aerospace at the AUSA (Association of the United States Army) Annual Meeting.

Through this cooperation, UVision USA and MAG Aerospace will offer operational and training solutions for the Hero family of loitering munitions. MAG Aerospace will provide in-country resources, perform demonstrations, operational training, and support for UVision’s customers OCONUS (outside Continental US) and CONUS (Continental US).

“This agreement has come about in response to the growing need in the United States for HERO systems,” says Jim Truxel, CEO of UVision USA. “As part of the cooperation with MAG Aerospace, we will be able to provide local support for the company’s customers locally and around the globe. Strang Retires after over 41 years in the industryOctober 20, 2021, Harrisonburg, Virginia –Tactical & Survival Specialties, Inc. (TSSi) would like to welcome the community in celebrating the well-deserved retirement of founder Bill Strang. Strang’s last official day at TSSi was September 22, 2021. Although Strang’s presence will be truly missed as head of the company and as an integral member of the industry, TSSi will continue to operate based on the guiding principles of integrity, excellence, reliability, and teamwork as a subsidiary of Noble Supply & Logistics.

Strang plans to spend the early part of his retirement enjoying time with his wife and family before stepping into his new role as a member of the Noble Supply & Logistics Board of Advisors, as well as offering consulting and advisory services to veteran entrepreneurs through his newly established SPSA LLC consulting business.

Last week saw the inaugural Operator Expo held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Attendance was really good considering Canada is just opening up from their COVID-19 lockdown. It was also great to meet so many companies who are either producing products in Canada or representing other brands to the Canadian market.?

As you read this it’s officially 11 September, 2021, a full two decades after that fateful day in 2001 when the world changed. I expected to spend this year as I have years past, stoically grieving for our dead and vowing to never let it happen again.

But something happened as I made my journey to that place. Once again, America has been caught asleep at the wheel. But unlike in 2001 when we pulled together and screamed vengeance, our nation’s leadership gave it all away, abandoning not only our allies, but our citizens as well, to an enemy we have fought for 20 years. Worse yet, our President signaled to the rest of the world that the United States isn’t a leader to be respected, but rather a fair weather friend who will quit on you.

Afghanistan is once again ruled by a den of rogues, who will harbor terrorists. Worse yet, we armed them with everything from small arms to attack aircraft. Could you ever imagine Islamic terrorists trading in their AKs for M4 carbines? It’s happened, courtesy of the Biden administration. While most of the sophisticated stuff will be sold off, it will be to our enemies and the proceeds used to fund additional terror across the region and eventually, back here at home. We will pay for Biden’s failure for decades.

There will be no accountability. There will be no effort to regain our stature. Not until we wake up and restore proper leadership at home. Elections have consequences. Our chickens have come home to roost.

Over the next day, we here at SSD will memorialize the events of September 11, 2001. I pray that we never suffer a day like that again.
