The MIB²S defeats up to .50 Caliber BMG Armor Piercing Incendiary Tracer (APIT) and in recent Department of Defense testing successfully stopped multiple MK 211 .50 Caliber Raufoss rounds and multiple RPG-7 HE Fragmentary rounds.
