Columbia, SC, March 12, 2015 – Panteao Productions and Survivor’s Edge Magazine have teamed up as title sponsors of the National Prepper & Survivalists Expo that will be held in Louisville, KY on October 10th and 11th.

NPS

The National Preppers and Survivalists Expo is a 2 day event focusing on the preparedness, self-reliance, supplies and survival skills that are crucial when a catastrophe strikes. There will be over a hundred exhibitors with products that focus on dealing with everything from short term to long term events. The instructors from the Panteao Make Ready to Survive instructional video series will be on hand giving classes during the event.

“NPS Expo Louisville is our 5th event in this industry and will be our biggest event to date. Each year we have seen NPS Expo grow exponentially with the number of and quality of exhibits as well as the caliber of speakers for our show. Louisville Kentucky will surely exceed any and all expectations for our exhibitors and attendees. We are so excited that Panteao Productions and Harris Publications are partnering with us for this event. Both of these companies are the leading industry experts of their respected fields in media and will help shape the event for a truly greater experience for all that participate,” said Ray McCreary, Show Director of NPS Expo.

“I’m very happy to be a part of the NPS Expo. The event ties in perfectly with the new Make Ready to Survive video series we produced. Now attendees will have access to both the training videos, the products seen in the videos, and the instructors from the series all in one place,” said Fernando Coelho, president of Panteao Productions.

“SURVIVOR’S EDGE Magazine is very pleased to sponsor the NPS show. We had a very rewarding show exhibiting at the February 2015 show in Florida and we fell in love with the consumers that drove from near and far to investigate the show. They live a lifestyle we believe in. Some of our discussions with many have already influenced future issues of SURVIVOR’s EDGE and our site, REALWORLDSURVIVOR.com., said Shirley Steffen, Group Publisher at Harris Publications, Inc.

Cara Donaldson, the managing editor of SURVIVOR’S EDGE, had this to say, “The attendees and the exhibitors of the show in Florida were very inspiring. Will Dabbs M.D. covered the show for us from an editorial aspect and he was like a kid in a candy store. There were so many great products to learn about. I look forward to the next show in KY.”

Specific considerations are given for folks living in the city as well as suburban settings. Instructors Paul Howe, Jim Cobb, Kyle Harth, and N.E. MacDougald walk you through the medium term survival budget, bugging in, home security and lockdown, communications, getting from work or play to home during a crisis, advanced first aid, identifying hazards and hazardous areas, quantity and types of food to have on hand, workplace survival gear, and more. Localized rioting and civil unrest, power outages or a natural crisis can be dealt with and managed when you are prepared. We help you to get to that point of being prepared.

Panteao Productions – Two New Videos In The ‘Make Ready To Survive’ Series

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015

Columbia, SC, February 2, 2015 – Panteao Productions is happy to announce the release of the next two video titles in the new Make Ready to Survive instructional video series.

Bugging Out and Shelter, Fire, Water are now available streaming to Panteao subscribers. The DVD versions will begin shipping this week.

The instructors in the series include former US Army Delta Operator Paul Howe, Dave Canterbury from the Pathfinder Self Reliance School, US Army Special Forces Green Beret Kyle Harth, disaster preparedness consultant and author Jim Cobb, and NE MacDougald, who started his career in Vietnam with the 519th Military Intelligence Bn (MACV), and today is an author and consultant.

Make Ready to Survive: Bugging Out
Bugging out. Entire books are written on this subject. In fact the subject warranted its own video in our series. What does it really mean? Are you prepared for having to leave where you are in a hurry? How about your family? What will you take with you? In this video instructors Paul Howe, Dave Canterbury, Jim Cobb, Kyle Harth, and N.E. MacDougald review the bug out bag, the different option between store bought assembled kits and putting the gear together yourself, what gear is essential for your bug out or get home bag, what specific tools and gear they keep in their bags, the pros and cons with different products, rehearsing the bug out plan, navigation, special considerations for bug out planning, and much more. If you like reviewing gear options this video is for you. Equally important, our instructors take the mystery out of gear selection and give you a down to earth approach to picking what you will end up relying on for both short and long term use.

Make Ready to Survive: Shelter, Fire, Water
Shelter, fire, and water are the basic elements of survival and are essential to preserving core body temperature. That is critical to your survival. In this video Dave Canterbury reviews your survival kit resources including making a fire, fire bed and fire lays, three stages of fuel, primitive fire resources, water collection, boiling water, clothing, shelters, and more. Dave Canterbury is a master woodsman with over 20 years of experience working in many dangerous environments. His common sense approach to survivability is recognized as one of the most effective systems of teaching known today. Understanding and knowing how to make a fire, how to secure drinking water, and how to build a shelter are the most important tools in your survival tool chest. This video gets you started down that path.

A total of 13 videos have been filmed in the Make Ready to Survive series. More info on the series can be found on the Panteao website at: panteao.com/survive

Kids & Guns Video From Panteao Productions

Saturday, December 20th, 2014

Columbia, SC, December 19, 2014 – Panteao is happy to announce the release of the first video with instructor Tatiana Whitlock called Kids & Guns with Tatiana Whitlock.

The NRA’s Eddie Eagle program is geared towards children from pre-kindergarten to 3rd grade. Panteao felt that there should be a video that helps parents to better deal with addressing firearms with their children, no matter their children’s ages.

“Kids & Guns is intended to reach a broader audience of parents that may or may not own a firearm. Maybe they are considering purchasing a firearm but they are concerned because they have children in their home. Or a spouse has issues with firearms in the home,” said Fernando Coelho, president of Panteao Productions.

Many firearms accidents can and should be prevented. Taking the mystery out of firearms, educating our children, and following strict safety protocols can make the difference. In Kids & Guns, Tatiana reviews the firearms safety rules, proper firearm storage, proper attitude and setting an example, specific age groups like toddlers to kindergarten age, pre-teens and teens, toy guns in the home, when friends visit, capabilities and consequences, and family business.

Kids & Guns is not a tutorial video on how to teach your kids how to use a firearm. This video will lay out a baseline of information that parents can make better decisions with.

Kids & Guns is available streaming to Panteao website subscribers and will be available on DVD after January 5, 2015.
