Saturday, May 11th, 2013If I had to pick a single favorite movie it would have to be Francis Ford Coppola’s epic, “Apocalypse Now”. I’d have to say that no other movie influenced my generation of Soldiers more.
So this afternoon when my friend Author, Adventurer and Stand Up Philosopher Robert Young Pelton (he also makes a pretty mean knife) shared this trailer on Facebook I had to post it here on SSD. I am pretty sure this is first trailer I saw for “Apocalypse Now” as an impressionable 11-year-old in the Summer of ’79. And, this is what captured my imagination. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
